2017 has been a pretty boring year for me. I've been unemployed and I've studied part time which means that I have had more free time that I have ever had. I tend to watch a lot of TV shows and hardly ever watch movies, but recently I have found myself pulled towards films more. I only started tracking the films I've seen in the middle of the year so there may be some that I missed out because I forgot about them.

I thought I would include a key to show what my ratings mean because everyone is different. I was going to attempt to link all movies IMDB pages but since there is around 10, I'll just leave a link to IMDB here instead.

★★★★★-Absolutely loved the film, enjoyed every minute of it.
(a lot of the films in the four-star group almost made it into five but I tried to only put my favourites of the year into the five-star group, although I did also feel the need to put my most favourite films from each category in bold too)

★★★★- A great film, I would watch and re-watch happily.
★★★- A good film, I would maybe watch it again.
★★- An ok film, I would probably not watch it again though.
★- A bad/terrible film, I most likely turned it off before it even finished.
